Ayurvedic Treatments:
Ayurveda is an ancient science that by taking a holistic approach, believes in healing diseases. The first and foremost goal of treatment with Ayurveda is to protect the health of the healthy person and to improve longevity. The rich storehouse of time-tested and reliable recipes for the treatment of many stubborn and otherwise incurable diseases is Ayurveda. The advanced therapies practiced to cure such diseases are more important than these recipes.
These therapies improve the body's immune system, thus helping to prevent diseases that contribute to the maintenance and promotion of positive health. In Ayurvedic science, these advanced treatments are called PANCHAKARMA. There are three senses of humor that serve as foundations to sustain the body's proper functioning. The disruption in the humor causes disease. Balanced state of tri-doshas i.e. Vatha, Pitha and Kapha is represented as the normal constitution (Prakrithi) of a body and the deranged state of the body in an illness (Vikrithi). Based on their effects on the senses of humour, medicines and herbs are grouped.
